Game Thread- Knicks at Heat

Whoa now. Whoa. Settle down. I know it's a little different, but I'm sure you'll get used to it. Yes, the game previews formerly labeled "Knicks-Opponent Tonight" are now "Game Threads". You'll notice that the actual product is eerily similar, but I'm trying to encourage a little more commenting in this house. We'll see what happens.

Anyway, the Knicks head to Miami tonight to start off a very tough week. The Heat are coming off a tough loss to Dallas yesterday, and Dwyane Wade has been playing like hot fire as of late. Miami has a great shot-blocker in Mourning and some longball marksmen in Kapono, Posey, and Walker, so this is gonna be a toughie for the Traveling Pants. Stephon Marbury is sore like a mofo, but will be suiting up. Hopefully, Steph can show Dwyane Wade the same kind of white-on-rice business that he brought to Ray Allen and Gilbert Arenas in the past few weeks, even through the pain.

It's gonna be a tough one, but let's see what deez Knicks can do. Recap after the game. Later.

EDIT: New Carnival of the NBA today at Detroit Bad Boys, and it's a great one. Check that out.

EDIT: I said "tough" 4 times in that post. Tough tough tough tough tough tough.

Hey man, been reading your posts for a while now. Dontcha think that the Knicks are just forcing the ball into Curry too much of late? I think that they need to balance out that attack more, Q Rich has been hot of late so he is a good candidate. Also Jeffries needs to get less minutes, I see no contribution that he makes superior to oooo say...Lee. Anyways, with those changes I think that the Knicks have a decent shot of steeling 2 of these next 3 tough games.

Zach-
It's hard to tell. It certainly could be that they're forcing it, but it could also be that Curry's worn down and isn't using the passes as well. Either way, I would agree that Q needs a few more looks, and that Jeffries serves almost no purpose. If Lee should be getting anyone's minutes (and he should), they should be Jeffries'.

The Knicks game plan of Curry first has served them well, but they need to diversify their looks for different teams.

I hate Jason Williams, he is such an asshole (anyone remember his comments on Pearl Harbor?). Anyways, this game has been painful to watch, the Knicks can't do anything right it seems.

Yelling expletives with almost uncontrollable rage, Williams again directed his mock-machine gun at the crowd and cried out, “Do you remember the Vietnam War, I’ll kill y’all just like that. Just like Pearl Harbor, do you remember that?”

Oh, yeah, that's not very nice. That doesn't even make sense.

Yeah, it was a generalization at most.

Clyde called him "less" flamboyant though, most people use that adjective to describe homosexuals.

Go Clyde.
